We didn’t get to watch this game out here in the Valley. Bah! But woohoo for Harden! 😉 Another win and a dominant one at that. Groovay. I love it when they win…

Alas! Truly, I hate when they lose. 🙁 ‘Tis not right! Grrr.

Otherwise, a decent Monday. I got to drive to work. 😛 Such a long drive, such a looong drive. Work was all right. We started off with breakfast, so it was all good. The day went by quickly. Nice.

Fourteen innings!

extra innings! Texas 4, Oakland 5 at McAfee Coliseum

Losing pitcher – Kameron Loe (3-2)

HR: OAK: B. Kielty(6)

Oakland Record:(47-44)

WOW! What a freakin’ crazy game. It was GREAT! I knew when the A’s rallied in the 9th to tie it that they would find a way to win. And when Bobby Kielty hit that homerun in the bottom of the 14th, the whole place erupted. Most awesome!!! 😀

Well, they can’t win them all, eh? Better for us because tomorrow we’re going to the game and they must win all the suite games we have. They must!!! So far, the A’s are 3-0 in that department. 😉 They love me, right? 😆

My new Treo
the Treo 650

Yes, I now have the Treo 650. We switched carriers, so I still have my old number (which is really still a new number). At this very moment, I am having a grand time making ringtones. 😆 The last song I did was Kelly Clarkson’s “Addicted.” Cool song. I love technology. Rockin’.

Winning ways…

One of those games that wasn’t televised here in the Central Valley, even though the Bay Area had it. NO FAIR! But hey, WOOHOO! 😉 We were watching the Cardinals game, which went to extra innings (13). Mulder pitched, but got the ND because of Isringhausen’s BS. Alas, Izzy!

On the super bright side, it’s the weekend. I am having great fun with my latest toy. Maybe I’ll take a picture of it later and show it off. We’re such consumers. It must be a borderline sickness, eh?

Almost perfect…

almost perfect for harden Texas 0, Oakland 6 at McAfee Coliseum

Winning pitcher – Rich Harden (6-4)
Losing pitcher – Chan Ho Park (8-4)

Texas Runs: 0, Hits: 2, Errors 1
Oakland Runs: 6, Hits: 8, Errors 0

HR: TEX: OAK: E. Chavez (13)
Oakland Record:(45-43)

Baseball is back and the A’s shut out the Texas Rangers. Rich Harden faced 29 batters and gave up 2 hits. He faced 22 batters before the first Ranger hit. He was almost freakin’ perfect! It gave me a bit of a headache watching the game. I was so anxious for him. It was great though. 🙂

The heat is getting to me. Our air conditioning has not stopped running since we got home and it’s almost 10pm (as I write this)! When will it stop? My head hurts because of it.

This won’t show posted until 11:59pm because I’m going back to bed and I haven’t gotten my postgame alert yet. Plus I’m too lazy to do my own. 😆

The business of baseball…

So, the A’s traded away Chad Bradford in one deal, then Eric Byrnes in another. I wasn’t so surprised about Bradford, but I was a bit about Byrnes. 🙁 My favorite moments about each:

Chad Bradford – The hubby and I got into a habit of calling him Rad Chad. Don’t know why. The thing I will ALWAYS remember about Bradford is that he was the winning pitcher on my 30th birthday. The A’s were playing the Blue Jays and Tim Hudson was the starter. Hudson pitched NINE innings, but it went past the ninth and Bradford was the last pitcher on the mound at game’s end. And the A’s won. On my birthday! And I was there to see it! 😀

Eric Byrnes – I will always love Byrnes’ enthusiasm on the field. I had one almost encounter with him. It was at one of the Tristar Shows. I had just had my Mulder moment or something and the hubby and I were walking back to the tables to look at cards and such. While we milled around with the crowd, Byrnes stopped a bit in front of us. He was looking for someone but no one really noticed him. I could have stopped him right there and asked for a picture with him or something, but I didn’t. Now I think I might regret it a bit. Ah well. I didn’t want to be bothersome. But man, he has big arms. Rarr! 😉

I wish the both of them the very best with their new clubs…
