WOW! What a freakin’ crazy game. It was GREAT! I knew when the A’s rallied in the 9th to tie it that they would find a way to win. And when Bobby Kielty hit that homerun in the bottom of the 14th, the whole place erupted. Most awesome!!! 😀

Today's game
Fans in the making… the Barry Zito give away… our suite this time around… the redhead hit the game winning homer…

This time around we were in Loge Suite 52 and kids had the run of the place. I loved the mess we made. Yah! 😆 And the reason I chose this day for one of our suites was the Barry Zito figurine giveaway. Then I almost didn’t get one!!!

When we passed through the entrance, there were three figurines left. They handed one to the husband, then totally avoided looking at me and were looking at the two kids behind me, murmuring something like, “The two kids coming in.” But I was not having it! I stood there until they handed me mine, leaving the kids to duke it out for the last one. Fine, I’m selfish. But when I realized that they were going to run out at our entrance, I knew I needed an extra in case my friend and her son didn’t get one. So I wasn’t totally selfish, right?

On the other hand, I had a ticket and I got in before the kids, so first come first served. 😛 And as it turned out, my friend and her son came in through a different entrance that had plenty of figurines, so they got theirs. Our other friends didn’t get anything though. Alas!

suite folks
Noble ones… neighbors… he likes the figurine… two friends…

So yes, our first time with children in the suite. Ye gods! Kids are a handful, eh? But it was cool. I hope they had a good time. I think we made up for all those other times we left the suites neat. 😆

It was so great to see my friend. We haven’t seen each other in awhile and it was wonderful to spend some time with her and catch up on my old workmates. Whenever she tells me something about the old place, I’m usually glad that I’m not there anymore. Although I do miss the folks I worked with. Such interesting and diverse people…

Oh, and the weather was perfect for baseball. Not too hot with a cool breeze. Ahhh, glorious.

I took so many pictures, but I have no idea when I will have them up. I might be too lazy to work on them after I finish posting this. The story in my head is clamoring for attention, even though I gave it some last night. 😉
