Losing Pitcher – Brian Anderson (1-6)

KC Runs: 0, Hits: 3, Errors: 1
OAK Runs: 7, Hits: 12, Errors: 0

“Mulder’s the best bunter,” said Hudson… – Read about the pitchers and their adventures in the batting cage. 😉

And you can never ever go wrong with posting a Mulder picture, right?

OHHH! And a reminder for tomorrow:

Funshows.com – According to an email I got: “Mark will be at the Vallejo fairgrounds May 22 2004 5pm as a autograph guest after the game”

The funshows.com website only has this info for that day:
Collectible Expo – Cards-Stamps-Coins & More
May 21-22-23 2004
Vallejo – Solano County Fairgrounds

Wish I could be there. 😉

Speaking of tomorrow…

My friend from high school is getting married tomorrow. Yes, another wedding. I’m so excited for her! And it will be nice to see her. It’s been much too long since we last got together. And I’ll be sure to post some pictures afterwards.

Good call Friday…

21 May 2004

First off, baseball. At this very moment, the A’s are leading the Kansas City Royals 7-0 in the top of the 7th. Mulder is pitching. 🙂 Bobby Crosby has hit two homeruns so far. Go rookie! LOL!

Second thing, photos. At this very moment, I’m printing photos from our anniversary party. This HP Photosmart 245 printer is way groovy. Sure, it only prints up 4×6 pictures, but it’s perfect for photo albums! 😀

THE SCREEN SAVERS

I got a phone call from the 415 this morning. It was Diane from TechTV and she wanted to know if I was still interested in tickets to The Screen Savers. HECK YEAH! So the Husband and I are heading out to San Francisco on June 10th for that day’s filming of The Screen Savers. We get to see Patrick, Kevin, and Sarah in real life! Woohoo!

BUZZNET

Yes, I have something new. A moblog! Okay, I don’t have a camera phone (darn it!), but I do have a digital camera and the Husband’s Zire72. And since I’m online all the time anyway, I can easily email my photos to Buzznet and there they are! The Quick Shots section on the sidebar should feature the latest photos uploaded in the particular galleries. Right now I have it set to show my baseball photo gallery and my main gallery. I might add the family and friends gallery. Or a places one. I’m not sure yet. I don’t want to clutter the blog too much. 😛

A’s win!

Wow, that was a fast game! But Mulder is a quick one. I wonder how long before my postgame report arrives…

Baseball is always a good thing…

And the A's win! Detroit 2, Oakland 3 at Network Associates Coliseum

Winning Pitcher – Tim Hudson (5-1)
Losing Pitcher – Jamie Walker (0-1)
SV – Arthur Rhodes(8)

DET Runs: 2, Hits: 10, Errors: 2
OAK Runs: 3, Hits: 8, Errors: 1

Oakland Record: (22-18)

I didn’t get to watch this game. 🙁 But I’m glad they won. Woohoo! A win is always a good thing. And a Hudson win is ever always a good thing.

I did get to watch the end of the Cardinals/Mets game. Cards won. 😀 Isringhausen pitched the ninth even though it was a non-save situation. It’s always good to see him pitch. 😉

Another quick test…

Losing Pitcher – Mike Maroth (4-2)

DET Runs: 2, Hits: 9, Errors: 0

Ahh, a win for the A’s. Always a good thing.

This is how I fill my days…

the doggies
One of those very rare pictures in which both the dogs are looking into the camera. Most of the time Meggie won’t look or Saffy won’t sit next to her. Somehow, I got this shot. (And a few others.)

Top of the 7th, 2 outs

Yes, I’m watching the A’s right now. They’re leading the Tigers 4-2. Duchscherer just walked Monroe. Blah!

Replies to the commenters

Jen, I’m jealous that you get to go to that show. I wanna see Mulder! (And I know I already said that. LOL!)

Wah, I haven’t seen Pitch Black yet, but I have seen the first Bourne movie. And thanks for coming by and commenting. 😀 Oh, and are you going to check out Mulder on Saturday at that show at the Solano County Fairgrounds?

Meesh! I have been watching TechTV FOREVER! We were watching it when it was ZDTV. I think Fresh Gear was the first show we watched. Back when it was Sumi Das and Jim Louderback (sp?). And The Screen Savers was Leo Laporte and Kate Botello! Ahh, those carefree days. LOL! Fresh Gear isn’t as fun as before, but I still really like The Screen Savers. I hope they find something wonderful for Leo. He’s cool. 😀 And I’m very glad I’m not the only TechTV fan I know. LOL! (Well, me and the Husband.)

Olivia, hi there! I didn’t get to even see that much, the last out. We saw the highlights on SportsCenter after the basketball game. Or something like that. Still, it was a sight to see. You’re lucky you got to see it in real time anyway! 😀

Bottom of the 7th, no outs

Scutaro got a hit and Byrnes is at the plate with a 2-2 count. HIT THE BALL BYRNESY!… Woohoo! He blooped a hit and Scutaro is now on third and Byrnes is on first.

I love them.

Go Kielty! He’s 2-3 so far with two home runs. He’s batting from the left side now. Nice looper! 5-2 Oakland. Yowsa!
