Reaper and Sarge in DOOM
Doom and Stay come out the same day. Even though I’m seeing neither of them on opening day, I still think it’s weird that two movies starring fellas I’ve met are opening on the same exact day. Okay, not so much a coincidence, just my mind at work. Scary.

Ryan Gosling in STAY
During our Sunday stores trip, I bought the novelization for Doom. Karl’s on the cover! (I should take a picture, but I’m lazy.) I bet I read the book before I see the movie. 😆 I will see the movie at the theatre. It’s ever my destiny to watch Karl on the big screen whenever I get the chance. 😉 Read the rest of this entry »

Mulder taking the ball back from LaRussa…
The St. Louis Cardinals are now up 2 games to none against the San Diego Padres. Yeehaw! Mulder had a good game, in spite of the shot to the bicep in the second inning. He’s tough. 😉

Mulder on the mound…
We recorded the game and we’re watching it right now. I hope we keep it for awhile because I’ve got to go to bed! 😆

AP Photo – Mulder with a bat in hand…
Tis always a bit of a jolt to see Mulder with a bat in his hand. 😆
Steady Mulder ready for Game 2 start – Good Mulder article with lots of quotes from him…
“You’ve got to be ready for these situations and you’ve got to thrive on it. You want to go out there for the big game. You want to be out there in a big situation. I know I do, and I hope everybody else does.”
A couple of more pictures and other babblings… Read the rest of this entry »

So, the A’s won their last season of the game. Is it wrong to already start itching for spring training? 😆

Kendall, Swisher, Saarloos, Zito…
Saarloos let Bobby work his clipper magic and walked away with a mullet. Ye gods! Doesn’t he look ultra proud? 😉
The A’s had a good season. I enjoyed the ups and downs and wish that they had gone ahead and at least made it to the post season. But sometimes the post season is just so anti-climatic. They had a good run and have much potential for the future. Here’s to next season!
(How’s that for optimistic? 😆 )
Oakland 4, Seattle 3 at Safeco Field
Winning pitcher – Joe Blanton (12-12)
Losing pitcher – Julio Mateo (3-6)

Seattle Runs: 3, Hits: 9, Errors 3
HR: SEA: Y. Betancourt (1)
Oakland Record:(87-74)
I can’t believe the season is almost over. This game wasn’t on TV for us. Not that we would have watched it anyway. 😛
We got to leave work early today. Yeehaw! 😉
We made it home in time for the Cardinals game. Mulder was pitching and did a semi-crap job of it. Alas. Seven walks! They took him out after the 4th inning, so it was a no decision for him. Of course, I had to do some screenshots. It was his last regular season game. 😛

Mulder during today’s game…
Tonight we watched the pilot for Ghost Whisperer. We recorded it because I wanted to see Wentworth Miller in a non Michael Scofield role. 😉 And the hubby adores Jennifer Love Hewitt. (He’s liked her ever since Party of Five.) Anyhoo, it was nice seeing WM in a different role.
We’re all caught up with Threshold too. A good show! I’m hooked enough to watch it every week. It’s nice seeing Brent Spiner in something else. But he’ll always be Data to me. Is that weird? 😆
Oh yes, and my A’s played… Read the rest of this entry »
