Zito on KGO

listening to... “More than You Know” by Jane Monheit

So, Barry Zito is on the radio right now but I can’t listen to it because I’m too lazy to look for the station on the radio AND I can’t get my computer to stream the station. Oh well! My friend is listening though and we’re both hoping he answers our emailed questions on the air. Actually, I’m just hoping he’s amused enough to email me back. That would be groovy.

a tv shot from last night’s game…

Good game! ;)

This game was longer than last night’s game. Ye gods! But hey, I’m not complaining. My boys won! 😀

Gmail!

So, I logged into my Gmail account today and saw that I had three invites to give out. Wow. But I still can’t get kiari at gmail dot com! 🙁 I have three more Gmail addys, but I haven’t decided how I’m going to use them. Blah!

Marc Anthony Won’t Confirm Marriage to J.Lo

8 June 2004

Read about it

All I can say is, GOOD FOR HIM! I’ve always liked his music and I think it’s cool that he’s trying to keep his personal life to himself. Because if he wants people to know anything, he’ll tell them.

I bet those two shows that had him on today thought they were going to get the BIG SCOOP. LOL!

A most kick @$$ game!

Hatteberg a step away from touching homeplate after his grand slam in the second inning
Hatteberg is a step away from touching home after his grand slam in the second inning…

I love going to games like this one. It was GREAT! We had fantastic seats (section 119, row 21, seats 10 & 11), Mulder was on the mound, and the A’s WON! What more could you ask for? 😉

Mulder on the mound

Our seats were the first row after the walkway, so we had the railing in front of us, but had lots of leg room. Of course, the people behind us were slightly obnoxious, but such is life in regular seats.

First pitch, 7:05
“First pitch, 7:05.” Yes, right on time.

I took a lot of pictures. I always do. They came out all right, as you can see above. Maybe I’ll even get the pictures online someday (besides blogging them). We shall see…

listening to... “Mi Chico Latino” by Geri Halliwell

I’m wearing my Mulder jersey. He pitches today against the Cincinnati Reds’ Cory Lidle. Hey, I remember when we had a pitcher named Cory Lidle. 😉

So here I am in Concord at the Husband’s place of work. I’m listening to my iPod and fiddling online. Yeah, loads of fun! 😛

I got my email from The Screen Savers for Thursday’s show. Yes, we shall be there! I’ll have to get up early and go to work with the Husband. We can’t bring our mobiles or PDAs! How crazy is that? But I can bring my camera. Well, at least I get to take pictures, hopefully. It’ll be fun being there! I’m definitely going to TiVo the show. Who knows, I might be on television. LOL!

Oh yes, I’m wearing my Mulder jersey in Concord because WE’RE GOING TO THE GAME! 😀 I have my camera all ready for some baseball pictures. I don’t know what kind of seats we’ll have (we’re going to be one of those people who walk up for tickets), so we’ll see what kind of pictures I get. I hope it’s a good game. I hope Mulder WINS.

Hmmm, I just re-calculated the possible rotation and Mulder won’t be pitching on Photo Day. Could it be? Might he actually be on the field for Photo Day?! And if he is, will it be possible to get a picture of him? And then if that is possible, I will get one with him. Hopefully. Hmmm…

Website additions

William Gregory Lee Online – pictures from Greg’s latest project, Dante’s Cove. I got the pictures the other day and they are now up on the site. 😀 Go look!

Pirates of the Caribbean screencaps – I did these screencaps a long time ago. My lovely friend ::celeste:: did that PotC layout using my screencaps. Well, I’ve redone the page with the layout. If you’d like to see the layout again and check out my screencaps, have at it!

Coupling

Coupling airs on BBC America on Sundays, 9pm e/p. 🙂 Watch it if you can!

Okay, that’s all for now. I’ll send out some love later. 😉

Baseball is good, Coupling is back! :D

And the A's win! Toronto 3, Oakland 8 at Network Associates Coliseum

Winning Pitcher – Mark Redman (4-3)
Losing Pitcher – Jason Kershner (0-1)

TOR Runs: 3, Hits: 5, Errors: 0
OAK Runs: 8, Hits: 10, Errors: 0

Oakland Record: (31-24)

Yes, a win! By the time we got home from a little bit of shopping, it was already 4-0. It got a bit hairy when the Jays scored their 3, but the A’s settled down and ended up taking the game in a most impressive fashion. 😉

Woohoo, Coupling!

So last season, NBC tried their hand with an American version of the UK hit, Coupling. It bombed (though perhaps if they hadn’t put so much hype into the show, its ratings might have been seen as rather good) and the show didn’t even air all the filmed episodes. The first two or three episodes were almost word for word copies of the original series. The last episode aired was an original American episode and I started to warm up to the series.

Then it got cancelled.

It’s just as well, really. We started watching Coupling in its first series and we love it! It’s a great show, especially if you’re in your late 20s or early 30s. It’s hilarious! You’ve got to have an open mind though.

Tonight was the first episode of the fourth series. Alas, it was missing the ever brilliant Richard Coyle as Jeff Murdock, but the episode did not fail to make me hoot with laughter. Absolutely SAUCY! I’m so glad that BBC America decided to air the show even though it hasn’t finished its run in the UK. (Usually we have to wait at least three months before we get to see the first ep of a series.)

I love the show. I definitely recommend to people like their laughs a little raunchy and always wicked…
