Good 1st inning, but…

2 July 2004

today in baseball Oakland 3, San Francisco 7 at SBC Park

Winning Pitcher – Kirk Rueter (4-6)
Losing Pitcher – Mark Redman (6-5)

OAK Runs: 3, Hits: 8, Errors: 0
SF Runs: 7, Hits: 7, Errors: 1

Oakland Record: (44-34)

Alas, a loss. Oh well…

We watched the end of the Orioles/Phillies game. Sixteen innings! Ye gods. Miguel Tejeda had the game winning RBI. Good for him! 🙂

Yesterday’s episode of The Screen Savers was Patrick Norton’s last live show. Awwww! It repeated this morning, so we got to watch it. It’s going to be strange to watch TSS without Patrick…

I’ve moved my Ryan Gosling site to walelia.com. I can’t believe I get so many hits to that site. I suppose it’s because of his new movie, which I haven’t watched yet. Hopefully this weekend…

Who’s being stalked exactly?

2 July 2004

Normally I love it when I get comments and Tags to my blog, but these past two days I’ve been forced to delete a couple of Tags by someone named Mary. She’s says that someone here (I guess me?) scares her and that “he” is being stalked by people. I’m not exactly sure who “he” is, but I’m guessing it’s a picture here. So Mary, if you actually come back to this blog, why don’t you comment here or send me an email if you’re disturbed about something you see here. Otherwise, don’t come here, don’t Tag your nonsense, especially if you can’t be clear enough with your concerns.

Geez.

Everyone is welcome to share their words here, but if I don’t know exactly what you’re talking about, I’m probably going to delete it, especially if it’s a Tag.

And I am so curious to know who’s getting stalked. Hmmm.

End of a work week!

And the A's win! Anaheim 3, Oakland 7 at Network Associates Coliseum

Winning Pitcher – Kirk Saarloos (1-0)
Losing Pitcher – Jarrod Washburn (8-4)

ANA Runs: 3, Hits: 12, Errors: 1
OAK Runs: 7, Hits: 12, Errors: 1

Oakland Record: (44-33)

I’m so glad for this long weekend. Yeehaw! 😛

Right now I’m in that nervous stage of the job learning. I hate this feeling, but I know (or hope) that it will pass…

Oh, and did I say how lovely it is that the A’s won? Woohoo for them! 😀 The new guy got the win. Very cool.

I think I’m going to move my Ryan site. I’m getting WAY TOO MANY HITS to that site. Bandwidth, yikes!

Always love the “W” for my boys…

And the A's win! Anaheim 2, Oakland 4 at Network Associates Coliseum

Winning Pitcher – Chad Bradford (4-4)
Losing Pitcher – Scot Shields (5-2)
SV – Octavio Dotel(16)

ANA Runs: 2, Hits: 5, Errors: 1
OAK Runs: 4, Hits: 10, Errors: 0

Oakland Record: (43-33)

I didn’t even see Bradford pitch. I think I was “resting my eyes” when he came in. LOL! I did watch the A’s take the lead and then Dotel shut the Angels down in the ninth. Some weird plays in the ninth, but it ended well. 🙂

Nice Zito pic, eh? 😉

I’m looking forward to the long weekend. I intend on getting those Photo Day pictures online very soon. Maybe tomorrow night, especially since the A’s are playing a day game. (Wish I could be there!!!)

The Hank guy kept calling the visiting team the CALIFORNIA Angels. Hullo, when was the last time they were called that? Ye gods!

My site was down, again, last night. So I didn’t get to blog. But really, I was in bed before I could blog. 😛

Go Mulder! Mulder states case. Of course, I think he should start the All Star game. Why not? 😉

Happy Tuesday !

29 June 2004

Yesterday I went into work. Yes, work. I’m going to start learning the loan business. Something like that. It’s a little scary, but I’m looking forward to learning something new and getting out of the house. Not that I don’t love my doggies. I do. But they’re not much for conversation. 😉

I’ve fiddled with my Photo Day photos, but I haven’t created the webpage yet, so all you photo hungry readers will have to wait until tonight or tomorrow. I’m not sure I’ll have them up tonight because the game is on tv and I want to watch Mulder pitch. 😀 I really wish he had swung around to our side of the field during Photo Day. I want a picture with him in his uniform! LOL!

One picture from the game is up at my buzznet site (as you can see on the right). Buzznet is rather cool. I love the comments to my pictures. People can be so nice. 😀

Plugs later. Maybe…

Photo Day at the Coliseum

today in baseball San Francisco 5, Oakland 2 at Network Associates Coliseum

Winning Pitcher – Dustin Hermanson (3-2)
Losing Pitcher – Mark Redman (6-4)
SV – Matt Herges(21)

SF Runs: 5, Hits: 9, Errors: 0
OAK Runs: 2, Hits: 7, Errors: 0

Oakland Record: (41-33)

I woke up so early (for me) and was out the door by 7:40am. I picked up my cousin in Pleasanton, then we stopped for a couple of minutes in San Lorenzo, then onward to Oakland. We were in line a little after 9:30am. Our other cousin met us and we stood in line until it was time.

When we got in, we found a spot along the left field foul side. We probably should have tried closer towards third base because we might have gotten more players that way. Before the guys came out, we saw Mulder throwing a little, then Zito. Byrnes walked by, but headed straight for the folks at left field towards the warning track. I got one picture with a player:

with Bobby Crosby

Gads, I look hecka goofy! LOL! Oh well. 😉

I’ve got more pictures (of course) and hopefully I have them up sometime soon.

We left at the top of the 7th inning for my niece’s 18th birthday/graduation party in Alameda. Good times! It was really nice hanging out with family and just talking and eating and drinking. (I only drank punch.)

And now my eyes are feeling the effects of the sun. Ye gods!
