And in other personal, baseball related news, the hubby and I are owners of luxury suites for six A’s games this season! Yeehaw! Our first game is the 17th of April. I’ll let you all know how it goes. My life is GOOD. We must stop spoiling ourselves. LOL!

In other baseball news, we’re going to the Nuts game on Thursday night. Yeah, the Modesto Nuts. Most of the time I think it’s hilarious. But then I realize that if I want to support the team, I’m going to have to wear Nuts gear. Bah!

Day one of the diet went all right. Still need to eat dessert. 😉

Tomorrow begins the 2005 season for my Oakland Athletics. They open in Baltimore. I hope I remember to TiVo it. Bah!

And tomorrow I begin something I’ve never tried. A diet. Ye gods! Oh well, at least I’ll be eating more during the day. Maybe I won’t be so hungry at lunch time. 😉

Today was the last day of preseason for my A’s. And they ended it on a good note. 🙂 Oh, and Rich Harden is locked with the team until at least 2008. Good times, good times. Love it!

The “Old Man” aka Barry Zito commercial is HILARIOUS! I saw it at the official A’s site. I’m sure it looks better on regular tv. Zito is a NUT. I say that with much affection, of course.

I created a new personal email address at my domain because I am so tired of getting JUNK at my email addys. I’m hoping to wean everyone off of my other infested email addresses. We’ll see. Online I’m going to switch to one of my gmail accounts. I just need to figure out which one I want to pass out here at Moonlit Jazz. 😛 Maybe I should just go with MoonlitJazz. LOL! Anyhoo, after I emailed my family and friends, I received a few emails back. It was great to hear from all of them! Heard from my favorite fella (you know, besides the hubby and Mulder), my aunt in Seattle, a former co-worker, and an online buddy. I also got mailer daemons back, which led me to search online for a particular person. She was one of the “priestesses” in our Temple of Ares days and I discovered her blog! If she doesn’t mind and if she gives me permission, I’m going to add her link here. And even if I don’t get to add her, I’m still going to read her. LOL!

I almost stayed up for the end of last night’s game but I fell asleep before the end of it. Bummer they lost. Bah!

The game is currently tied. I’m hoping the A’s win, but since it’s merely preseason, I won’t worry about it too much. 😉

I love my new eyes. I love that I can wear regular sunglasses. It’s so weird looking in the mirror and seeing the color of my eyes. If you wear glasses, especially the transition kind, you might know what I mean. My transition glasses had a tint and I never really noticed the color of my eyes if I had my glasses on…

April is here. The fourth month of the year is my most favorite month. I don’t know why. Is it because it’s the first full month of spring, my favorite season? Or is it that baseball, my favorite sport, begins? Both those reasons and maybe more…

I read that Bobby was injured in today’s game. I am thinking good thoughts for him but I’m also mad that it happened. BASTARDS!!!

South Park rules. LOL! I’m watching the PSP episode. 😉 “Hail the Golden PSP.” You know, those South Park boys are CRAZY…

Yes, we watch Nashville Star and tonight was our last ep of the season. The viewers are MORONS for *not* voting to keep Tamika. She was the most talented contestant on the show but the clowns who produce the show “edited” for drama and the people who voted assumed something about Tamika that wasn’t true. Unfortunately her talent wasn’t enough to overcome the ignorance of the Nashville Star viewing audience and she was voted off. How can I watch a show that willfully deceits its viewers? And how can I be part of an audience who’d rather listen to the talking bits than the music? I think people just wanted an excuse to vote off Tamika because they construe her confidence with cockiness and heaven forbid an Australian woman dare to sing country music better than some country stars out there.

Yeah, I’m ranting about the country music version of American Idol. LOL!

Time for bed or something like that. 😉
