Woohoo A’s! I guess Mr. Rich Harden pitched his bootie off. Go Harden!!! 😀
But my big news (beside it being my 11th year wedding anniversary) is that this blog has MOVED to it’s very own domain. Wow.
I present M O O N L I T J A Z Z . C O M.
Please please please change your links to http://moonlitjazz.com (if you have me linked). I plan to *someday* copy the contents of this weblog over to the domain, but until then this will stay here, barring the cancellation of my Hostonce account. 😉
I hope to see you all there. A couple of you have already found me. You’re groovy. 😀
Happy Anniversary & Welcome!
16 April 2005First off, it’s our 11th year anniversary. I’ve been a Noble for 11 years now. 😉
And I just wanted to try out this new blog. I’m not sure I’ll keep whatever layout is showing, but I do know I’m going to keep WordPress. 😉

Well, I’ve taken down the comment box. Bummer, eh? I just HATED the ads that would come up and so away it goes. Maybe someday I’ll find one that does not annoy me in such a way. 😉
I’m still not sure what my next domain will be. I think perhaps I might just go with walelia.net with the thought of perhaps phasing out walelia.com. Then again, why not try something NEW? But what?
We watched Spanglish last night. I liked it! And I didn’t really care one way or the other about watching it. Strange, eh? But the movie was rather good, except the ending left me a little wanting. Ah well.
The A’s game was not on tv today, so I “watched” online while I was chatting with my long lost friend Rachel. {waves to Rachel, who probably won’t read the blog} I’m trying to convince her to get hosted somewhere because I would be a little sad if her site wasn’t online anymore. I offered to host some of her stuff, but she thinks her Chris Conrad site might be over 1GB. YE GODS! I was looking at a webhost that I’m probably going to use for my next domain (whatever it ends up being), so I suggested it to her. We’ll see what happens.
Sweet spring Saturday breezes

Oakland 2, Tampa Bay 11 at Tropicana Field
Winning pitcher – Hideo Nomo (1-0)
Losing pitcher – Barry Zito (0-2)
Oakland Runs: 2, Hits: 3, Errors 1
Tampa Bay Runs: 11, Hits: 12, Errors 1
HR: OAK: K. Ginter (2) M. Kotsay (1) TBA: A. Huff (1) J. Phelps (1)
Oakland Record:(2-3)

Zito got rocked…
Alas, my A’s are under .500. But the season is so very young, so worry not?

Mulder didn’t fare too well his first time out…
It’s nice hearing from old friends. Maybe I should send out more bulk email to my family and friends. LOL! And I think it’s funny that I can still make the gossip circuit at my old place of work. 😉 Special.

Red things… modeling the Mulder jersey front, close up of the front, the back with a name and number, showing off the Nuts cap and the still seeing without glasses eyes…
I went to a candle party last night. PartyLite rocks! I LOVE the candles. They burn so nicely and smell so good. The accessories are expensive but sometimes you just get in the mood and you buy. I kept myself in check last night though. I’m trying to be good!

Not bad for camera phone pics, eh?
I wrote back to one of my former co-workers and told the story about discovering the betrayal of someone I considered a friend. Doesn’t that sound melodramatic? And yet it is a accurate. I don’t talk to this person anymore, but it saddens me that all the time we spent talking and working were just hours that meant nothing. Ah well, such is life.
It’s been a year since I left that former place of work. I’m glad I’m away from there but I do miss some of the people.
I still need to figure out a new name for my latest domain. I’m thinking of moving this blog to its own place in cyberspace and perhaps moving the rest of walelia.com to a different host. Or not. I guess I’m not sure what I want. I might just take walelia.net. Or I might think of something new for Moonlit Jazz. I was thinking of perhaps jazzymoon.com. MoonlitJazz.com seems like a long URL for me, considering I have kiari.com and walelia.com. (And yes, williamgregorylee.com is a long URL, but it’s my fella!) Any thoughts, anyone?
Extra inning loss…
8 April 2005
Oakland 2, Tampa Bay 3 at Tropicana Field

HR: OAK: TBA: J. Cantu (3)
Oakland Record:(2-2)
But hey, the Cards won. Mulder didn’t do so hot, but the Redbirds got the win. Isringhausen got the save. I love XM Radio. I got to listen to the game on the slow way home. 😉
Let’s Go Nuts!!!
7 April 2005

We stopped by the game between the Modesto Nuts and Stockton Ports. I say stopped by because we left in the middle of the game. It was COLD! And I have to go to sleep soon. And it was COLD. Brrrrr!
I bought a hat that says “NUTS BASEBALL.” It’s red and it rocks! It goes well with my new Cardinals jersey. I took a picture of myself in it, so I’ll post it during the weekend sometime. I’m toying with wearing my jersey tomorrow since Mr. Mulder pitches and I want to be supportive in spirit. 😉
Yeah, so I’m dorky.
*** Just in! The Stockton Ports beat the Modesto Nuts, 4-3. Bah on Modesto, but cool for the Ports.
I’m going to bed now…
