Woohoo, another win for the A’s!!! Awesomely awesome. 😉
I had my follow-up eye appointment this morning. I was in there for an HOUR. Totally goofy. But all was well with my eyes. I could have told them that without waiting an hour. Geez.
And yes, another very warm day. When will the temperature go down just a little? Just a very little? Alas!
Slow Sunday…

Again, no A’s on tv! I did not see one A’s/Tigers game this weekend. Suck! But hey, they won. ‘Tis all that matters, eh? 😉

Mulder in today’s game… (AP Photo)
The Cardinals game was on. It’s very interesting listening to a Dodgers game. Non stop talk from ONE person. Wow!… Mulder should have won that game. He left with the freakin’ lead! But noooooo, the Dodgers came back to tie it. The good thing, of course, is that the Cards still managed the win. Woohoo!!!
I finished Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince!!! I enjoyed it very much and look forward to the rest of the tale. I will say, I nearly cried at the end. Alas… Now I think I’ll start all over again and read each book once more. 😆

Ten games over .500. Wowsers. Sometimes I can’t believe the turnaround the A’s have made. It’s almost too much to relish. And then I think to myself, hey, these are the freakin’ A’s! And in baseball, anything can happen. 😉
The game wasn’t on tv for us (should I just stop harping about that?), so I tuned into the Cardinals/Dodgers game. Disappointing! Somewhere in the sixth inning, I realized (after doing my nails) that I should start that Harry Potter book.
Between postgame alerts…

Mark Mulder on the mound (AP Photo)
The A’s aren’t on tv out here in the Central Valley. GRRRRRRR! But all is not lost in my baseball world. The Cardinals are on and Mulder was pitching until the 6th. It’s the bottom of the 7th and the Cards are up 4-2.
Pitching change.
The Company Party
24 July 2005Yesterday was the company party at the in-laws house. (They own the company, hence the party at their place.) In past years, the weather had co-operated by not being so hot. Not so this year! Twas SWELTERING, no breeze until late in the afternoon– just downright uncomfortable. But that aside, it was a nice time. 🙂
I took lots of pictures. For those and some musings, click (more…)

I had a dream that I was in a classroom or something with Bruce Campbell. What the heck?!
