A long day…

28 May 2005

We got up early today to help the sister-in-law move. I vote for movers next time! 😉

Oh yes, and then there was baseball…

At least it’s the beginning of the weekend now…

27 May 2005

It’s becoming so disappointingly routine…

They keep losing. I don’t like it.

I went shopping with my co-worker during our lunch hour. I love spending money during the day. 😆 I bought three blouses and two pairs of pants. I think that’s right. 😛

We turned on the XM Radio to the A’s game and it was the bottom of the 1st, no outs, score 5-0 Devil Rays. WHAT THE HECK?! And it was downhill from there. BAH!!!

Meggie in her bonnet
Meggie happy to be home, Saffy happy that Meggie is home, Saffy’s sad for Meggie, Meggie wonders how she’s going to eat…

Meggie had surgery yesterday and we picked her up today from the vet’s. She has to wear the bonnet for at least two weeks. My poor baby dog! 🙁 Saffy is THANKFULLY staying away from Meggie and not bothering her. I think she’s a little scared about what’s up with Megs. Alas.

Mulder during a winning game...
My Mark Mulder… LOL! 😉

So my joy in baseball today was Mark Mulder on tv and the St. Louis Cardinals winning. Yah! I even got to see Mulder’s hit. Groovay. 😀 Thank goodness for my other favorite team. Or perhaps thank goodness for my favorite player? Yeah, let’s go with that. 😆

We had Benihana for lunch. DELICIOUS! If you check out my Textamerica, you can see a little video I did while our chef dude was preparing our food. I got so full but managed some ice cream at the end. 😛

My unfavorite score

24 May 2005

Winning pitcher – Travis Harper (1-2)
Losing pitcher – Kirk Saarloos (1-3)

I know, I’m showing the losing score. I guess because I really don’t have much more to say. Bah!!!

Sunday at home…

22 May 2005

I read my first bit of CSI fan fiction. Thankfully it was a well done piece. I can’t believe I joined a Nick Stokes LJ community. Ye gods!

Of course, it just makes me miss the days of Hercules/Xena and Dark Angel. I loved loving a show so much that I just had to write fan fiction for it. Or read its fan fic. Or do screencaps. Or just talk about the episodes. As much as I really enjoy CSI, I don’t think I’ll ever write fan fic for it. I just don’t see it. 😛

We watched Meet the Fockers before the baseball game. Funny movie! But perhaps not as funny as the first? I thought Dustin Hoffman and Barbra Streisand were HILARIOUS! And Blythe Danner is a lovely woman…

Oh yes, there was baseball today… (more…)

Lazy Saturday…

21 May 2005

We spent most of today catching up on our TiVo’d shows (CSI and Numbers). We watch a lot of CBS shows. Hmmm.

Oh, and we did watch some baseball. Blah.
