I read my first bit of CSI fan fiction. Thankfully it was a well done piece. I can’t believe I joined a Nick Stokes LJ community. Ye gods!
Of course, it just makes me miss the days of Hercules/Xena and Dark Angel. I loved loving a show so much that I just had to write fan fiction for it. Or read its fan fic. Or do screencaps. Or just talk about the episodes. As much as I really enjoy CSI, I don’t think I’ll ever write fan fic for it. I just don’t see it. 😛
We watched Meet the Fockers before the baseball game. Funny movie! But perhaps not as funny as the first? I thought Dustin Hoffman and Barbra Streisand were HILARIOUS! And Blythe Danner is a lovely woman…
Oh yes, there was baseball today…
Oakland 1, San Francisco 3
at SBC Park
Winning pitcher – Noah Lowry (2-5)
Losing pitcher – Barry Zito (1-5)
SV – Tyler Walker (6)
Oakland Runs: 1, Hits: 8, Errors 2
San Francisco Runs: 3, Hits: 6, Errors 0
HR: OAK: SF: M. Alou (5)
Oakland Record:(17-26)
The only good thing about tonight’s game was the fact that it was televised on ESPN in HD. Wasted opportunities and shoddy defense seemed to be the name of this game. At least for the A’s. And even though it was a nationally televised game, the emphasis seemed to be on the Giants as far as the broadcasters were concerned. I was slightly annoyed.
Of course, even more annoying was the fact that the A’s lost. I’m so disappointed! And it gets me a little down when they lose, another annoying thing. Bah!!!
