Woohoo for the A’s!!! Holding strong in second place and just one game back of the Wild Card. It’s wonderful and crazy and I totally LOVE it! What’s the motto? Oh yes, I LIVE FOR THIS.

Jason Kendall is INSANE! We just saw the highlight for the end of the A’s/Ranger’s game and holy crap! Kendall chased the wild pitch, then dove into the runner at the plate for the last out of the game. I can’t even describe it. INSANE! Wow, how could you NOT love that man? Rarr!

Oh yes, and Mulder won his 11th today too. Woohoo!

Mulder (11-5) induced 11 ground-ball outs and kept Milwaukee from ever sustaining a rally. He and his teammates finished off the visiting Brew Crew in a mere two hours, 22 minutes, and while it was certainly well-played, it wasn’t a game that will necessarily stand out as unforgettable.

“There’s nothing wrong with that,” Mulder said. “That’s the way I like to be. It’s kind of weird. It was so hot out there, I was just trying to keep everything real slow, nonchalant, trying not to get too involved in it or overwork myself.

“I was just trying to throw sinkers and splits and changes, cut the ball in here and there, throw a couple good curveballs. Just trying to mix it up and keep it real boring.”

Mulder likes being boring? 😉 Nah!

Otherwise, a decent Monday. I got to drive to work. 😛 Such a long drive, such a looong drive. Work was all right. We started off with breakfast, so it was all good. The day went by quickly. Nice.

WOW! What a freakin’ crazy game. It was GREAT! I knew when the A’s rallied in the 9th to tie it that they would find a way to win. And when Bobby Kielty hit that homerun in the bottom of the 14th, the whole place erupted. Most awesome!!! 😀
