Ten games over .500. Wowsers. Sometimes I can’t believe the turnaround the A’s have made. It’s almost too much to relish. And then I think to myself, hey, these are the freakin’ A’s! And in baseball, anything can happen. 😉
The game wasn’t on tv for us (should I just stop harping about that?), so I tuned into the Cardinals/Dodgers game. Disappointing! Somewhere in the sixth inning, I realized (after doing my nails) that I should start that Harry Potter book.
Day game delight

Sounds like they had a big crowd at the Coliseum today for the game. And they won! 😀 I “watched” this game on my Treo (you know, kept hitting “refresh” so that the page would show me the latest). Then I got sucked in by a couple of People magazines in the dentist’s office and didn’t realize the A’s won until I got my Yahoo alert. 😆

Mostly I think I would have liked to get a root beer float from one of the A’s players. Yah!
Snapped streak

Oh well, you can’t win them all. But darn it, you can try! 😛
Mulder won last night, even though he really didn’t pitch too well. (Is that wrong for me to say?) I’m just glad I got to watch it. I missed his hit though. We were channel surfing and came back when he was already on first base. It’s never fun watching when he’s not on his game, but at least they won. So, good enough to win? I guess so…

The A’s aren’t on tv out here in the Central Valley. GRRRRRRR! But all is not lost in my baseball world. The Cardinals are on and Mulder was pitching until the 6th. It’s the bottom of the 7th and the Cards are up 4-2.
Pitching change.

This game was on television for us out here in the Valley. Yeehaw! It was GREAT watching it, especially seeing Chavez’s TWO home runs and Zito’s nasty curveball. So LOVE it when they win. 🙂
Sixth in a row…

Losing pitcher – Chan Ho Park (8-5)

Not exactly a stellar performance from Harden, but an awesome game by the offense. The important thing? The A’s are now tied for first in the Wild Card race. Woohoo!
