I can’t believe I didn’t post yesterday! Ye gods!

Well, the A’s didn’t play yesterday, so perhaps that explains the absent post. How sad is that? And what’s going to happen when the season ends? [sigh]

I’ve decided that one day, someday I’d like to end up living along the coast somewhere. When we did the 17 Mile Drive in Monterey, I realized that my ultimate happy place (besides being anywhere with the hubby and baseball games) is along a misty shore, with the crash of the waves my music and the salty breeze my air. Something feels so right about being in that moment.

Of course, if I were a millionare, I would definitely have a house along the 17 Mile Drive. 😉

Today the A’s take on the Seattle Mariners up in Seattle. GO A’S!!! 😀 Oh, and read TEN BURNING QUESTIONS FOR MARK MULDER. What is with him and country music? I wonder if he was tortured with it as a child. LOL! Oh well, everyone has to have a flaw. 😛

Okay, I took a quiz. 😛

You aren’t interested in David Duchovny because of his looks or even the X-Files. You are all about his talent with the craft. You enjoy his unique blend of playful wit dashed with soft dramatic flare, and admire the easy way he handles his roles. You’re probably interested in acting yourself, or another aspect of Hollywood. You might even view yourself as an apprentice of his art. Good luck with that, he’s a tough act to follow.

Discover which kind of
David Duchovny fan you are!

Alas, the A’s lost to the Yankees, 8-2. 😛

I’m too lazy to scan my A’s magazine, so I used the digital camera instead. LOL!

Don’t they look tough? LOL! I told my friend to guess which one I like. (Yes, I like all of them, but…) If you’re reading, leave a comment! 😉

The A’s won again against the White Sox, 10-0. Tim Hudson got the win! 🙂 And so ends the longest homestand of the season for my boys. Off they go to New York, then Chicago, then I don’t know where. LOL!

Erik Thomson didn’t win his Logie. 🙁 But here’s a nice picture of Erik and his wife Caitlin on the way into the awards show…

And almost time for the A’s game…

I do not think I have ever been to such an A’s game!
A’s blast Buehrle, White Sox

The A’s kicked some serious butt! Four home runs in the 3rd inning (a very LONG inning, I might add 😛 ) by Scott Hatteberg, Terrence Long, Carlos Peña and Frank Menechino. Mike Fyhrie, stepping in again for Mark Mulder, got the win.

It was an early day for us, since I wanted to get my Tim Hudson Bobblehead. LOL! We stood in line for an hour at the gates and got our bobbleheads. (I’ll have to take a picture of it later.) Then we had time to check out our seats (under the overhang so that *someone* doesn’t get sunburned), watch the end of the no hitter from Boston Red Sox’s Derek Lowe (had to look that one up), and watch the end of the Magic/Hornets game (Hornets won in OT). Sporty, aren’t we just? LOL!

We had good seats on the third base infield side. I could see the players hanging out on the side. Too bad I wasn’t closer! 😉 The day started out cloudy, the sun shone for most of the game. I wore my groovy new A’s jacket anyway and I was okay. Plus I had shorts on!

Good game. Even better for the win.

Doy, the score! 16-1

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ERIK THOMSON! Of course, for him, it’s tomorrow now and his birthday was yesterday. 😉 (He’s in Australia.) Good luck on the Logies!
