twinkled from afar
winking mischief upon us?
hasn’t fortune shone
upon us alone
before fading to dust?
haven’t we walked away
yet wanted to stay
only to say goodbye?
haven’t we lived in regret
trying hard to forget
ever wondering why?

I just got off the phone with my sister and my blackberry vibrated, signaling an email. I took the phone out of my pocket and saw that the email was from Erik Thomson. 🙂 And his message just made me giddy. LOL!

Isn’t he totally sweet? Totally sweet!

I had emailed him to wish him a Happy New Year and to tell him about the revamp of the website. I’m so glad he responded. As a total fangirl, nothing beats feeling appreciated by the person you admire. 🙂 I told one of the vice principals and she was duly happy for me. (And she’s a Xena/Herc fan who adored Ares too and actually knew who Erik was!)

Anyhoo, just had to share. LOL!

Everyone was so tired at work, me included.  :lol:  I think it’s going to take awhile to get into the swing of things again.  I love having time off.

We went grocery after work.  Fun.
