Moonlit Jazz

My A’s just won their game.  Woohoo!  😀

Work has been speeding by these days.  It’s crazy to think that school starts for the kids next week.  The summer just zips by when your school district runs on a modified traditional schedule.

It would so rock if we won the lottery or the mega millions.  How can I make that happen?

We didn’t stay to watch the fireworks at Cornfest, but it was all right because we could see them from our front porch. How cool is that? 😀

Friday evening at Corn Fest

On Friday evening we went to the Cornfest. We walked! It’s kinda nice living close to downtown Brentwood. We didn’t have to worry about parking. 🙂

The corn was delicious. The churro was irresistible. The beer went down smooth. I wouldn’t have minded having more food and more sweets. Oh, and maybe more beer.

We didn’t stay for the fireworks, but we could see the fireworks from our place. How cool is that?

As we walked around, I saw familiar faces in the crowd. I guess that’s what happens when you work in town, especially at the high school. It’s neat and different after you’ve grown up in the suburbs where people don’t necessarily know their neighbors.

Besides the food and drinks, I also bought a sling like purse for $17. The honu design got me. LOL!
