Friday evening at Corn Fest

On Friday evening we went to the Cornfest. We walked! It’s kinda nice living close to downtown Brentwood. We didn’t have to worry about parking. 🙂
The corn was delicious. The churro was irresistible. The beer went down smooth. I wouldn’t have minded having more food and more sweets. Oh, and maybe more beer.
We didn’t stay for the fireworks, but we could see the fireworks from our place. How cool is that?
As we walked around, I saw familiar faces in the crowd. I guess that’s what happens when you work in town, especially at the high school. It’s neat and different after you’ve grown up in the suburbs where people don’t necessarily know their neighbors.
Besides the food and drinks, I also bought a sling like purse for $17. The honu design got me. LOL!
