HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME! 🙂

Okay, now I’m officially (though not technically) 30. (I was born at 2:30pm, Pacific time.) Yikes! And what the heck am I doing online? LOL!

I almost called this new site of mine “Val’s Corner.” But sounds like a hangout for hookers, eh? 😛

Tomorrow, on my 30th bday, I’m going to the baseball game with my hubby. LET’S GO A’s! I wonder who’s pitching tomorrow. Ahh, probable is Tim Hudson. Hmm, maybe my boys will win one for me. Yes, wishful thinking. I’m good at that…

On Friday, it’s off to Los Angeles for the Xena convention in Pasadena. Woohoo! Well, my friend Lisa and I are only going on Saturday. Although I would LOVE to be there on Friday too. Bruce Campbell and Karl Urban are going to be there! I remember when I utterly adored Bruce. I mean, I still do, but not like before. Me, fickle? Nah! LOL!

I turn 30 tomorrow. My goodness gracious! I think this latest online endeavor is my way of looking back. Somehow. I suppose I should try it, eh?

I count myself very blessed with my life. Blessed. Most people use that word in relation to God or religion. I’m not using it in that way. Is God present in my life? Perhaps not in the way the Church would prefer. I do feel that there is something out there. Sometimes I think it’s your own conscience or your past turning into a lesson. Is that God?

Back to looking back at my life. I have a wonderful husband, a loving family, good friends. What more could I want? Well, we always want more, don’t we? I wouldn’t mind having that dream job. Or writing that novel! I haven’t done that. I didn’t really expect I’d do that in my twenties. Not enough life experience and all of that.
