First off, thanks to Hostonce for getting my site back online. Here’s what they had to say:
We have plugged the security hole that allowed your website to be compromised. The team responsible appear to have attacked a number of servers on different networks. You will need to reupload your index page to your website and ensure that no other files have been changed.

Hey, at least they acknowledged the “continued inconvenience” I experience with the domain. Of course, this one really wasn’t their fault. And I must say, I’m so glad it was just my index pages, even though it was a pain in the ass to reupload the pages. 😛
Here’s what greeted me when I logged on last night (because my IE’s homepage is this blog):
According to Zone-H.org, the Ir4dex attacked a whole bunch of sites yesterday. For some reason, maybe because of the location of walelia.com’s server, my site got hacked along with everyone else. This is what I get for having a webhost based in Australia. The things I’ll endure while being thrifty. 😛
It looks like a bunch of Hostonce hosted sites got hacked. Alas!
WORK AND ITS FOLLIES
My friend and co-worker has been out with the flu this whole week. She’s the only other person who knows how to do my job. I have today off.
