Lauren (thanks for commenting, btw) you can make fun of Livermore all you want. 😉 The only reason I’d want to live there is because it’s so close to my work! My in-laws actually have a rather nice place. Swimming pool, big yard. But I bet it would be easier to make fun of my actual place of residence. It’s “exit” in Spanish. Ye gods! And everyone always says, “Where’s that?” Blah!
BIG BOOM!!!
I was getting ready for work today (err, yesterday) and suddenly the house boomed! It felt as if something hard had landed or hit the side of the house. I thought, “Oh crap, the tree fell!” So I checked the backyard and the tree was still up. I went out front and saw a few of my neighbors looking around and at their houses. I did the same, saw nothing amiss. Someone commented that a similiar thing had happened in Ceres last week, but no one could explain the sudden boom. Someone else said that their whole house shook. I was just glad it wasn’t just me! 😛
