Venting and babblings…

listening to... “If You’re Not the One” – Daniel Bedingfield

I didn’t have time to do my screenshots block, so here you go:

Hudson, Byrnes, Bobby, Scutaro and Durazo and Melhuse from last night’s game

On our way to work we listened to a lot of different radio talk shows, sports oriented. Of course, last night’s ruckus was the main topic. I agreed with most of the stuff said. For the most part, everyone agreed that the chair throwing was inexcusable and such. But some people wanted to blame the fans. From the stuff I saw (and they kept showing it over and over), the fans were not stepping onto the playing field. Everything I saw showed the Ranger players heading for the seats.

Personally, I was glad to hear that Francisco got arrested and booked. It’s on tape. He cannot argue his actions.

As for the fans, don’t the players have thicker skin that to worry about what some drunk guy is saying or yelling or howling? And those who want to blame security should take a better look at the tape. You can clearly see the security fellow standing between the players and the stands to keep the two separated. It’s not his fault that twenty or so players streamed out of the dugout to make things worse.

And boo hoo hoo, Buck Showalter. If you think your baby players are getting too razzed, maybe you should spend more time with the Red Sox or Yankees. I am quite sure that those players hear worse in more places than Oakland. How dare you blame the fans for what happened. NONE of those fans deserved to have a chair thrown at them. And no one should expect to have their nose broken by a flying chair thrown by a player.

Can you all tell that the game isn’t on tv for us here in the Central Valley? Blah! LOL! And from the looks of it, I won’t know the result until the morning. 😛
