The good things about this game: THEY WON!!! 😀 Bobby hit his 20th home run! The game went into extra innings and the boys battled back to win.

The bad things about this game: Mecir blew the save. He had TWO outs in the top of the 9th and he gave up a HOME RUN. What kind of crap is that?! Tim Hudson didn’t get the win he deserved. He pitched 8 great innings and came away with zilch. Nada. NOTHING.

The very BAD thing about this game: The woman with the broken nose. A chair came flying INTO the seats along the first base side and hit a woman on the face. According to reports, she suffered a broken nose and lacerations. Frank Francisco of the Texas Rangers appears (as they like to say) to throw the chair into the seats.

In normal circumstances, that is called ASSAULT. If I was that woman, I would be pressing charges and making sure that the player in question (and it’s on freakin’ tape) gets handcuffed and taken away. But in this baseball world, the fans were told that if anyone took the field, the game would be forfeited to the Rangers.

Excuse me? A fan is assaulted and sustains injury because of a player on the Rangers, but if a fan takes the field (which no one did!) the game goes to the Rangers? What kind of crap is that?!

I know I don’t know the whole story. But buck up, Rangers. You’ve got fans talking shit and you’re scared? From what I’ve read, no one threw anything onto the field. It was all verbal. What the hell could someone say to you that you’ve got to throw a chair at them?

There are no excuses. None at all. Especially since Francisco came from the dugout, as did the rest of the team, and he took it upon himself to throw the chair.

And I won’t say that the fans aren’t responsible in some way. But certainly that woman who was injured didn’t have anything to do with the ruckus. Come on.
