Maybe I should just save myself the torture and NOT watch the A’s when they’re on tv. Grrr! Very disappointing. But it happens and what can you do? Keep on playing. Yeah…

Have I mentioned how much I just love reading Wil Wheaton’s blog? He’s a wonderful writer and really just a joy to read. He recently posted about Gmail and the soldiers out there who might want an account to help them communicate with family and friends. And so Gmail4Troops was born. I’ve added my name and hopefully I get to send out some invites to those who’d like one. Heck, why not? 🙂 (And if anyone out there reading would like a Gmail invite, I’ve still got a few I can send.)

I finished Single Wife. I liked it! I bought Bill Clinton’s book today. I don’t know why, since I rarely read biographies, but I figure it might be an interesting read. 😛 Also new to the CD rack: Big & Rich, Josh Gracin, and the De-Lovely soundtrack.

We went to the hospital today. My mom had surgery. It was difficult to see her there in the hospital bed, but she gets to go home tomorrow. It’s a scary thing, what she had to go through. I hope she keeps her spirits high, but she doesn’t like to think that way. Alas. My aunt was just leaving when we arrived. It was good to see her. My sister came back from lunch about twenty minutes after we got there. We stayed a little over an hour, I think. Days of Our Lives was on the tv. The Ellen show just started when we walked out.

And then back to the house of doggies…
