Yes, a win! By the time we got home from a little bit of shopping, it was already 4-0. It got a bit hairy when the Jays scored their 3, but the A’s settled down and ended up taking the game in a most impressive fashion. 😉
Woohoo, Coupling!
So last season, NBC tried their hand with an American version of the UK hit, Coupling. It bombed (though perhaps if they hadn’t put so much hype into the show, its ratings might have been seen as rather good) and the show didn’t even air all the filmed episodes. The first two or three episodes were almost word for word copies of the original series. The last episode aired was an original American episode and I started to warm up to the series.
Then it got cancelled.
It’s just as well, really. We started watching Coupling in its first series and we love it! It’s a great show, especially if you’re in your late 20s or early 30s. It’s hilarious! You’ve got to have an open mind though.
Tonight was the first episode of the fourth series. Alas, it was missing the ever brilliant Richard Coyle as Jeff Murdock, but the episode did not fail to make me hoot with laughter. Absolutely SAUCY! I’m so glad that BBC America decided to air the show even though it hasn’t finished its run in the UK. (Usually we have to wait at least three months before we get to see the first ep of a series.)
I love the show. I definitely recommend to people like their laughs a little raunchy and always wicked…
