I’ve started writing a bit to my story again. Nothing terribly exciting, just a scene. I really need to do what I was doing when I first started this unemployed stint– get up in the morning and spend at least three hours writing or trying to write. After our vacation, I just couldn’t get myself back in that routine. Now I have no routine.
I don’t know why I’ve started writing the story again. But I shouldn’t worry too much about it. I just need to keep writing…
I’ve also begun a revamp of walelia.com. It’s been a YEAR since I’ve changed that site. YE GODS! The domain that seriously needs a revamp is kiari.com. I can’t even remember the last time I touched the main stuff there. Of course, my Greg site is as updated as possible. If I ever get through the main domains revamp, I might think about re-doing my Ryan and Erik sites. I’m sure Ryan fans have given up on me (although I do still get email regarding him), but I do want to clean up the site up a bit, maybe find a more recent picture of him. 😛 As for my Erik site, no one ever really emails me about him anymore. Alas! Plus he’s all the way in Australia. I bet no one who reads me even knows who Erik Thomson is!
Then there’s Karl Urban. I must mention that Karl has two movies coming up– The Chronicles of Riddick and The Bourne Supremacy. Go Karl! His movies are much more fun to watch, compared to Ryan Gosling. 😛 Isn’t that terrible of me to say? LOL!
The world of Gmail
I did a websearch on Gmail the other day and found this funny site called Spam My Gmail. The experiment is this: “How long does it take to fill up 1 Gig of storage with spam? How well do Gmail’s junk filters work?”
I added the site to my Bloglines and today received an update. The spammed email account now has 1 terabyte of space instead of the 1 gigabyte. Wow!

As for my Gmail accounts (I invited myself, so I have two accounts right now), I haven’t really been using them because I don’t want to get spammed and I’m not sure if I want to tell all my contacts that I have a new email address when I can’t POP3 or IMAP the Gmail acccounts yet. Plus I have no way to send the Gmail stuff to my Blackberry. Until I can do that, the accounts will sit for awhile.
