Our backyard was finally cleaned up yesterday. I think I want a real swimming pool out there, even though I do like the trees and stuff. But a real swimming pool would be groovay! 😀

Seven more days of the smurfy blue.
I had my “exit” interview with the Lt. yesterday. It wasn’t that bad! We went through the “form” part of it, then chatted a bit about my take on work. He was understanding about my reasons for leaving. My last question was whether layoffs are going to really happen. He has a feeling and he said that if he were in our shoes, he would be looking for another job. He would rather have something lined up rather than just get cut off.
I hear ya!
I cleaned out some stuff in my desk. It’s amazing how much crap I’ve kept over the years! Ye gods! I could probably throw away half the stuff I’m thinking of keeping. If I have more time before I leave, I’ll have to go through it all again.
