WORK CRAP
I wrote this down yesterday, but it was part of the lost post. Grrrr!
When I got to work yesterday, I had a little chat with the dayshift sergeant. I asked him how the subject of my departure came up in his muster. He implied that other people brought it up because they were asking him about it. After he heard about it, he called up Admin and they told him they knew nothing about it. Of course. I told him that I really didn’t like that it was brought up in their muster. He nodded, agreeeing.
What he said was the total opposite of what others had told me the other day. So, curious as I am, I asked a couple of people how it all came out and they all said that the sergeant brought it up. Well, all righty then!
I turned in my “employee separation” form to the other sergeant last night.
So it is done.
I meant to mention this the other night. Wil Wheaton was on Unscrewed with Martin Sargent on TechTV. It was so cool to see him on something! I really only remember him as Wesley Crusher, though I’ve been reading his website for awhile now. He is such an excellent writer! I cannot wait to until his book his out. I’m going to buy it. 😉
Anyhoo, there he was on Unscrewed, looking just the same, but sounding a little different. His voice is deeper. Weird! He talked a little about leaving Star Trek, his writing, his website, being a geek. All good things. 🙂 He’s just groovay.
