Today is the shopping for wedding dress day. It’s been such a long time since I’ve gone looking for wedding dresses (ten years?), so this is going to be fun. Now, I’m not going to be trying on the dresses, mind you. Tis not my wedding. LOL! I get to watch my cousin try on the dresses and hopefully find something she likes. 😀
Do they let you take pictures of that kind of stuff? I wanna take pictures!
I totally missed the time change. I was taking a nap and woke up before 0200 hrs. I didn’t realize the time had already changed! So now here I am, up and about and it’s not even 0900 hrs yet. 😛 And I feel all right, I think.
SO MANY DOGS
It’s really weird having to deal with six dogs instead of two. Giz the runt is so MOUTHY! He barks at everything. And he looks so funny when he does it. His legs are spread out and his front paws push off so that he jumps with each bark. So weird! Whenever he barks, my Saffy thinks she needs to bark and suddenly the dogs are in an uproar. Gizmo is such an instigator!
NO MORE BASEBALL
Even though I could give a rat’s ass about the World Series, it was still baseball being played. And now I’m sad that the series is over. I’m sad that baseball season is OVER. What the hell am I going to blog about? I want to talk about Mulder and Zito and Hudson. I want to post the scores of the games. I want to go to baseball games so that I can show off my “I  THE A’S” license plate. Alas, alas!
RIGHT, THERE’S ALWAYS FOOTBALL
Unfortunately, my 49ers are not doing well this year. So it’s more about frustration than cheering on when it comes to football. Sucks! And I always feel so evil when I laugh at losses endured by the Raiders. Oh well.
POSSIBLE SPORTY DIVERSIONS
I suppose I could try hockey. Or pay more attention to rugby. Isn’t basketball season starting soon?
MEN WHO DON’T GET SPORTS
When I was younger and unmarried, it never occured to me that I would consider liking sports a must have quality in a man. I just happened to find a man who loves sports and I like that he does. Now, do I like sports because my hubby likes sports and I like what he likes? I liked baseball and football before him, so I think the answer to that question is NO. But because of our love of sports, we are more open to checking out different sports when the opportunities arise.
But I do not get men who DON’T like sports and specifically baseball. I mentioned Barry Zito to one of the guys at work and he said, “Who?” I was sad. How do you not know Barry Zito, 2002 Cy Young Award winner, pitcher for the Oakland A’s– the local mlb team? It’s just terrible, TERRIBLE! And then I feel funny explaining sports stuff to a man. Doesn’t seem right! 😛
Of course, some people think I’m weird about keeping track of baseball. But hey, it’s nice talking about it with the guys. I actually know what I’m talking about most of the time! And I know what they’re talking about. Communication is good. 😉
