Four years ago this very day, I was in San Francisco at the Hercules/Xena 1999 convention. It would turn out to be the second to the last time I would see Kevin Smith alive and well… “In the Ghetto” played on my car stereo as I drove to work and the memory of Kevin was so strong. On this evening four years ago, he sang that very song to all of us… And twenty months ago this very day, his soul passed into the next life. Taken too soon…
