… Just not my place of work!
Let’s see, it’s a little before 1000 hrs and I’m here in Concord. First of all, I’ve been awake since 0630 hrs. Early for me! Second, I’m at work. Hey, at least I’m wearing my own, comfortable clothes, and not that damn polyester uniform. Ewww!
We have the St. Louis Cardinals/SF Giants game tonight. Since I didn’t want to drive out here later in the day (and then have to drive home after the game) I just woke up with the hubby and came to work with him. What will I do with my day? Maybe I’ll email my friends. Maybe I’ll read a book. Maybe I’ll write nonsense in my blog. Oh wait, that’s what I’m doing now, eh? LOL!
So far I’ve read a little online about the Russell City Blues Festival set for this weekend, the All Stars chosen and snubbed, an ex-Raiders player now an officer for the San Leando Police Department, and the death of Buddy Epson. And yes, it’s only 0955 hrs.
I might write a little about my story. I brought both my personal journal and my story ideas journal. I must work on my baseball story!
I think my shoulders are a bit burned from having the moonroof back yesterday in the Passat. Ye gods.
How do people get up so early in the morning everyday? I can’t imagine doing this everyday, yet there’s definitely an appeal to it. It’s lovely going down Marsh Creek Road. Clayton is a nice place too. I suppose I’m just fascinated because it’s all unusual to me. Yeah, that’s it.
I’ve already done a little online voting for Eric Byrnes this morning. I think I’ll do more of that later. I really really really hope he makes it to the All Star Game. That would be AWESOME!
