Tim Hudson left the game with a 5-1 lead and somehow the A’s bullpen BLEW IT AGAIN for him. Specifically (and I don’t want to be mean) it was Keith (I’m an All Star) Foulke. GRRR! He’s disappointed, Huddy’s surely disappointed, and I’m just MAD! I know, fangirl me doesn’t count, but damnit! What the hell does Hudson have to do to win a freakin’ game?! He was UP, for goodness’ sakes, 5 to freakin’ 1. To be fair to Foulke (grrr!), Chad Bradford did give up a homerun in the 8th. BUT STILL!
Enough of that, I’m just glad they won. I’m sad that Hudson didn’t get a win. Blah!
Yes, four of my boys are going to the All Star Game! I’m happiest for Mark Mulder of course. Love love love him! I’m happy happy for Ramon Hernandez. Go boy! And I’m a little surprised about Barry Zito and Keith Foulke. Actually, the Zito pick was the one that furrowed my brow. Hmmm. But I am so very happy for all of them! Yes, even Foulke. 😛
Now, the important task is still ahead for the fans. VOTE FOR ERIC BYRNES as the final member of the AL ALL STAR TEAM! Read about him, then vote! VOTE!
Tomorrow, more baseball for me! This time it’s Pacific Bell Park for the San Francisco Giants and St. Louis Cardinals. Go Cards! And thank you for being the reason I don’t have to be at work tomorrow. I think it’s going to be busy. Too bad for them! LOL!
