THE FRIDAY FIVE (’cause it must be Friday somewhere!)
1. Is your hair naturally curly, wavy, or straight? Long or short?
Medium length (past my shoulders) and naturally wavy.
2. How has your hair changed over your lifetime?
It’s been short, it’s been permed, it’s been short and permed, long and permed, and now just natural.
3. How do your normally wear your hair?
Before I got my hair cut last weekend, I was wearing two braids. I got the “Pippi” and “Pocahantas” comments, which I didn’t mind so much. Now I’m wearing my hair down and straight again.
4. If you could change your hair this minute, what would it look like?
Super long and super straight.
5. Ever had a hair disaster? What happened?
Once I wanted long layers and they gave me more layers than I wanted. I had my friend perm it, but we didn’t have enough perm solution. I ended up getting my hair cut to even it all out. Yes, very strange.

Isn’t it funny how things work out? I posted earlier today about not getting to wear my jersey until the 12th and what happens? I got to wear it today!
First off, personal days ROCK! They can’t ask what the “personal” thing is and so you get this free day to do what you want. Call it a mental day. Call it an emergency day. Whatever you call it, I like it! 😛 I do apologize to my fellow co-workers for whatever kind of hell they might have experienced because of my absence. My only regret of the day.
But enough of that. 😛
Very soon after I posted this morning, I got the phone call that led to my personal day. I got dressed in shorts and my batting practice jersey and out the door I went.
Luxury suites are AWESOME. We were in suite 32 and we were the only ones in it. Throughout our time in there, I kept saying, “This is so cool!” How could I not think so? We opened up the big windows to watch the game. We were above home plate with a view of the whole field. I could smell the hot dogs and the nachos and I could hear everything, but I was sitting in a very comfortable chair with no one walking in front of me and no one kicking my chair. If you ever get a chance to watch a game like that, DO IT. It’s totally worth it.
I was there with my Mulder jersey on and my boy was on the mound. We had the luxury suite all to ourselves. What more could I want?
The game was GREAT! Mulder didn’t have his best stuff, but the Rangers didn’t score until the 7th. By then we had home runs by Miguel Tejada and Eric Byrnes. Eric Chavez hit one in the 8th. Tejada hit his in the 3rd inning, right after a foul shot to the right field seats. The hubby said something about the next one being a home run. And he was right! How the heck does he do that?! It’s maddening… Tejada had an awesome day, going 5-5. Byrnes also did an awesome job, as always. He’s so cool, I like him a lot. 😀 Mulder is now 10-4. Woohoo!
Ah, and the score: A’s over the Rangers 9-2. They swept the series, winning their 6th game in a row. Way groovy! Wrap up (box score and stuff) or Mulder outfoxes Rangers for sweep
