In Kansas City: A’s over the Royals, 7-6. Woohoo! I watched the play-by-play stuff online, which is quite maddening! I caught the action in the 8th inning, when my boys were losing. A quick look at the stats showed that Byrnes had not gotten a hit the whole game. I was sad! But if the A’s did good things in the top of the 9th, Byrnes had one more chance for a hit. Well, the A’s did good things in the top of the 9th and Byrnes got to the plate. I was hoping for a hit. Anything! A single would have been good with me. Well, he took a pitch and took it OUT! Woohoo, a homerun! So, not only did Byrnes get his hit, extending his streak to 21 games, but he also gave his team the lead. And it was just enough, as Keith Foulke closed out the game, allowing the Royals to score one. It wasn’t enough for KC and the A’s won! 😀

Yes, I’m a freak for baseball. And I love it! 😉

In Kansas City on Friday: A’s fall to the Royals 6-11. Blah! On the bright side, Eric Byrnes got a hit, extending his streak to 20 games. Good for him! 😀

The temperature on Friday was much milder than the previous days. Twas much nicer! We went to the outlet mall in Tracy, then to the West Valley Mall. I think I’ve done way too much shopping these past few days. LOL

I just finished reading Orson Scott Card’s novel “Sarah.” It’s my first book from the library. I haven’t read a library book in the longest time. Now I need to go back and get the next book…
