10. Thought-Provoking Question of the Week: You work with someone who is not in the habit of bathing regularly. The smell seems to be getting worse and worse! Would you: 1. try to do something about it, or 2. try to grin and bear it? If you said 1, what would you do? I try and grin and bear it. I think I’ve done it in the past. 😛

Hey, here’s a good read: Batting Around with Eric Byrnes
Goes to show how much I know about him, I didn’t realize he was a local boy. Hmm, I might be able to use that for my story. 😉

Alas! I didn’t get my Barry Zito Cy Young Bobblehead. We got there too late! (Almost two hours before game time is too late?!) Jen, I hope that with getting there at 8am, you got yours? Lucky! And it must have been scary, if all the bobbleheads were gone by the time we got there! If I have to be there that early for the Mark Mulder Bobblehead, then so be it.
And, as it seem to be true of our nature this season, we left the game early, when it was still 3-0, Royals. We were in the parking lot when Ramon Hernandez hit that solo homerun. Bottom of the ninth, we were at Fry’s Electronics. With one strike away from another loss, Durazo hit a two run homer to tie the game. The winning run came off of a Mark Ellis single in the 10th. We were wandering around the store by then. 😉
So, A’s over the Royals in ten innings 4-3. 😀
