Wow, it’s officially already Thursday. I suppose I should do the Cancun thing for a bit…
Here’s what I wrote to my family and friends:
Our hotel was adults only and all inclusive. Twas nice not having children running around and it made for a much more carefree atmosphere. Friday night was WILD! Saturday night I stayed in while the others in my group went barhopping. Sunday was spent on the water in a trimaran for a jaunt to nearby Isla Mujeres. Monday was packing day and it was over all too soon.
Alas!We did a lot of shopping, including on Monday, when we only escaped to the mall for some airconditioning! I actually managed to read a book (Saturday night). And one of the channels had porn on 24 hours! By Sunday, however, they were looping the same thing over and over. It was annoying. (Not that I was watching it, but you flip through all the stations over and over and you notice things. LOL!)
My favorite part of the long weekend was Sunday on the Don Diego. I loved being on the trimaran as we sailed the mostly calm waters. It was spectacular. It was a moment that I never experienced before. I loved it!
The first thing I bought were postcards. The last thing I bought was a Latin magazine called HOLA! because Carlos Ponce was on the cover. LOL!
There’s lots more, believe me! I’m saving it all for the online photo album/journal I plan on doing. 😉
