The A’s over the Yankees 7-2. I love it! Tim Hudson finally got the win, making his record 3-1 so far. It should be better, but hey, it’s all good, eh? 😉 Here’s the recap at the A’s site: Long ball helps clinch opener. And can I just say that Ramon Hernandez is the man? He is! I think I’ve got a new favorite player. LOL!

Ooops! I forgot to do THE FRIDAY FIVE this morning. Good thing it’s still Friday. 😉

1. Would you consider yourself an organized person? Why or why not?
At work, I’m highly organized. At home, I’m probably what one might consider a SLOB! LOL

2. Do you keep some type of planner, organizer, calendar, etc. with you, and do you use it regularly?
I have a way groovy PDA. I use it to keep track of birthdays and contact information, but I don’t use it for my schedule and such. 😉

3. Would you say that your desk is organized right now?
This desk here? Nah. At work, yes.

4. Do you alphabetize CDs, books, and DVDs, or does it not matter?
The CDs are alphabetized, but the books and DVDs are a bit haphazard. I do want to organize them. Someday…

5. What’s the hardest thing you’ve ever had to organize?
My house! And it’s still not organized! 😛

Thursday: A’s over the White Sox 8-5. Yeehaw! 😀

Happy Friday everyone! Yes, I’m happy it’s Friday, even though I had to wake up and write a memo to our payroll. Bunch of crap! Here’s the story:

I filled out my timesheet on the computer. I made sure it was all right, printed it out, then submitted it to my supervisor. I didn’t get it back for correction, which means that it must have been correct. Cut to payroll– they look at my timesheet, notice that I had two sick days, but apparently glazed over on my hours and paid me without my shift 2 differential. Human error, I can dig it.

But here’s the deal. If I make such an error, it must be fixed NOW. I mean, NOW. But if payroll makes an error, it’s “oh, we’ll adjust it in the next pay period.” Why is that? Is that legal? Is it legal for them to do this, NOT pay someone what they rightfully earned?
