Thursday: In Texas, the A’s fell to the Rangers, 4-5. Squandered a 4-0 lead. Ah well, can’t win them all. Maybe it’s a Thursday thing…
Today the A’s are in Anaheim to play the Angels. Should be a good series!

Oh my gosh, I think I had a dream about Barry Zito! What in the world does that mean? And rats, why couldn’t it have been Mark Mulder? LOL! I can’t remember what the dream was about, but it was a decent dream. Nothing naughty. 😉
THE FRIDAY FIVE
1. What was the first band you saw in concert?
I think it was the county fair and it was Bobby Vinton. Ye gods! And no, I’m not THAT old. LOL! But like I said, it was the county fair. And maybe even before that, there was this Elvis impersonator named Max. 😛
2. Who is your favorite artist/band now?
Harry Connick Jr. is my ultimate favorite artist. If I had only one thing to listen to, it would be him. 😉
3. What’s your favorite song?
My favorite song of the moment is “Brokenheartsville” by Joe Nichols. My ultimate favorite song? Hmmm, that’s a tough one! Let’s go with a Harry tune, “Just Kiss Me.” 😀
4. If you could play any instrument, what would it be?
Actually, I can play the flute. If I could play any other instrument, it would be the piano.
5. If you could meet any musical icon (past or present), who would it be and why?
Harry Connick Jr! I’d like to see in person if he’s as funny and charming as he is in concert and in interviews. I’d also just like to take a picture with him and tell him that we got married on the exact same day. LOL!
