Opening Night for the A’s: A’s over the Mariners, 5-0. 😀 Fantastic game! Twas DAMN COLD!!! But it was a great game. Erubiel Durazo had all five RBIs in his A’s debut. Good for him! Hudson pitched 8 strong innings. And Mark Ellis made some awesome plays at second base.

Fun stuff: Bret Boone was introduced as “Bert Boone”… Starting pitcher Tim Hudson was almost unannounced! “Please direct your attention to centerfield…” Oops! LOL… One of the young ladies behind us was a Seattle fan. Can I just please go to a game where I’m sitting amongst fellow A’s fans? Oh, but she and her friend agreed that Eric Chavez was “hot.” 😛

I must confess, we left after six innings and headed out to Harry’s in San Leandro. It was just too cold and we didn’t have our good jackets on. I know, TERRIBLE! What kind of freakin’ A’s fan am I? 😛 But we did get to watch the end of the game at Harry’s. I had chili in the sourdough bowl. Yummy! 🙂

Well, the publishing part of my weblog isn’t working. ALAS! But I can still post, apparently. 😉

Today is Opening Night for the A’s. Woohoo! Let us hope it doesn’t rain come game time. Our seats are NOT under the overhang. 😛

Saturday: A’s 4, Giants 8 😛
Sunday: A’s 12, Rivercats 1… Poor Rivercats! Ahh well…

I’m on the 3rd day of my 4 day weekend. I must say, tis lovely having a long weekend. 😀

Let’s see, I’ve been doing screencaptures with my new WinTV USB videocapturing device. It took much too long to get it to work, but it finally does! Except I don’t get sound. Alas. I suppose it’s a good thing I’m only looking for good screencaps. And they’ve turned out all right. I have to fiddle with each and everyone in another photo editing program, but such is life. I’ve done screencaps of “The Life” episode featuring Mark Mulder, the Arliss ep “End Game” with Barry Zito, Xena episodes “The Heart of Darkness” and “The Abyss,” the JAG ep “Enemy Below,” and a very few from a BH90210 ep. I ended up with 180 screencaps from “The Life.” Yikes! Now it’s weird looking at all the screencaps of Mark Mulder. Ye gods! Oh, but I did get some of his teammates, so it’s not all Mark. Just mostly! LOL!

While I was doing screencaps, I was recording various things onto DVDs. I’ve got Saturday’s game between the A’s and Giants, the Pepsi All Star Softball Game, the special on the A’s Streak, and I would have done more, but I got worn out doing all of that. LOL!
