A’s over the Indians, 6-0. Go Cory Lidle! 😀
We had Taco Tuesday on Wednesday. Hmmm…
Why do I torture myself? I was just at MLB.com’s coverage of the collective bargaining. I was reading the player rep comments. I don’t know if I want to understand more of the whole thing. If they strike, I’ll still cry. Will it help me to know why they’re doing it? I don’t think so…
It was a better day at work today, just as I expected. Weird, eh? I knew that it wasn’t going to be as bad as Monday or Tuesday.

Tuesday: A’s over the Indians, 6-3. Yeehaw! 😀
One of the only highlights of yesterday was the A’s win. Otherwise, it was another sucky day! Alas. Perhaps I shouldn’t have watched that episode of News Radio. It was the one dealing with Bill’s death. It was funny and sad, but I still felt like crying. 🙁 And then work just pissed me off. It was busy, we didn’t have enough gray shirts (I was told) and it was just hectic. I felt like I was hanging on to my sanity by a mere thread. I NEED A VACATION! (Hey, good thing my vacation starts next week.)
And it doesn’t help that I keep thinking about the possible baseball players’ strike. I know, it’s silly to worry about something I have no control over, but I’ve given a lot of myself to baseball this season– my time, my attention, my affection, etc. And if they strike (PLEASE NO!), I will take it personally, as I’m sure many other fans will as well. It will hurt if they strike. It will hurt the fans and it will hurt the game. I hope everyone involved realizes that…
