THERE IS AN ‘A’ IN PARTY… At least, that’s what the glass says. 😉

For the 4th of July, we headed out to the ballpark for the Annual Bats, Balls and Beer Festival. Lots of beer, a free baseball cap, glimpses of A’s players off field (but still in uniform), and a thrilling game. Okay, so no pyrospectacular, but it was still a fantastic game.

“First pitch, 6:35.” (Right on time!)
Cory Lidle pitched a great game, but didn’t take credit for the win. The A’s ended up winning on the last play of the night. A two run single by Scott Hatteburg lifted the A’s to a 3-2 win over the Kansas City Royals. It was most exciting!
It’s always a day well spent if the day is spent at the ball park…
