Hmmm, Mark Mulder is on the mound tomorrow. Maybe he’ll energize the team and pitch a win. 😉 And then I can say he gave me a week later bday present. LOL!

Oh yes, the A’s lost to the Red Sox, 5-1. 🙁

Bottom of the ninth, two outs. Carlos Peña is up at the plate. Suddenly, the game halts and they keep the camera on Carlos. He’s grinning and the announcers tell us that a fan has run onto the field. They say something about how cold it is at the stadium, but the fan doesn’t care. He’s on the field with NOTHING on! LOL! We get a shot of the whole field and see security running towards right field where the man has already been apprehended by a couple of other security folks. They show us the other players, who are all laughing and grinning. As the man is taken away, they show us Rickey Henderson just shaking his head and kinda laughing.

Carlos ended up getting a hit. 😉 He snapped a 0-19 hitless streak.

I just found a groovy site! Jen’s Baseball Page Of course, I think it’s way cool because she features the very best of baseball – The Oakland A’s! LOL! Way to go, Jen! 😉 And how did I find her wonderful site? Well, I did a search on Mark Mulder on Google.com and on the second page was Jen’s site. Super sweet! 😉
