Okay, now I’m off the phone. The gal (Linda) told me that my glasses are not yet ready, but that someone could call the lab to check. Well, hopefully they’re checking now.
My other gripe with this is that I PAID for my glasses already. And it wasn’t cheap! So why is it taking so long? Am I to imagine that they have thousands of glasses they need to work with and mine is just one of very many? Or is it truly the anti-reflective coating that’s holding everything up? Well, if that’s the case, I hope the coating is better than what I have on right now…

Right now, I’m on hold with the optical services department at Kaiser. I haven’t talked to a “real” person yet. I’m trying to find out if my glasses (ordered back on April 18) are ready. They told me 10 days (business, I of course deduced) and how many days has it been? They keep telling me that it’s because of the anti-reflective coating. “It takes a little longer for that.” Yes, I know, the optician told me. But my grip is that instead of 10 days, perhaps she should have said 3-4 weeks since it’ll be 3 weeks tomorrow. What is up with that?! Gads.
