A’s lost, 2-1.
All right, my stance on Jason Giambi is surely softening. I’ll never like the fact that he’s a Yankee, but that’s just me, a Yankee non-lover. 😛 But honestly, I miss him and the energy he brought to the team. I hope he doesn’t think too badly of the boos that greeted him on Tuesday night in Oakland.
Carlos Peña says it nicely and so I quote:
I would love to see the crowd give him some love. Maybe Thursday. Get your booing out of the way, and on his last day here, let him know how much you enjoyed him while he was here. Tell him you miss him in a positive way. Give him a giant cheer — a standing ovation — every time he hits on his last day here.
