day147 / Lunch!
24 September 2007A tall one
23 September 2007I might have had a sip today. Not too sure.
So now autumn has begun. I’m not super sad about summer passing into cooler days, but a bit of longing clings to me knowing that the nights will be longer. Longing for what? The free feeling that summer brings even in older souls like mine. 😉
Baseball season will end next weekend for me. My A’s are heading into the off season whilst other teams play for October. I’ve felt slightly disconnected from baseball this season. Has it been the absence of suite games? Maybe. Or perhaps Mulder’s injury leaving him out of the rotation? Maybe that one too. We might go to the game on Friday. I’m wishing. But I won’t be too sad if I don’t get to go to another game until next year. I’ll survive.
Oh, the Cardinals just won over the Astros in their final home game of the season. And they showed Mulder! Awwww.
😀
day146 / messy desk
23 September 2007\tab\tab\tab\tab
\tab Inspired by
wah365's post yesterday.
My desk.
My wonderful mess.
See, I'm a Xena fan.
Oh, and a baseball fan too.
Love my A's.
last day of summer
22 September 2007It’s sad that I don’t write more here, but my writing attention seems to be taken by my LJ. Shame! Sometimes I think it would be so cool to combine the two. Maybe have Moonlit Jazz point to Shady Satin. But darn it, I like having them separate! I know, I’m weird. Ramblings indeed!
Today was the last day of summer. The day began gray and slightly rainy. There were bits of sunshine here and there, but twas mostly gray. Nothing wrong with that, I suppose. But maybe that’s why I didn’t leave the house. 😆
day145 / Piece of the unwritten epic
22 September 2007\tab\tab\tab\tab
\tab Someday I may write that sci-fi epic.
I like writing as much as can.
My handwriting is not so bad, eh?
day144 / cloudy sky late afternoon
21 September 2007\tab\tab\tab\tab
\tab The sky when I got home.
Don't you sometimes want to get lost in the brightness?
Maybe let loose with the misty clouds?
I like the light and silhouettes and slight color.
day143 / Mock storminess
20 September 2007\tab\tab\tab\tab
\tab The morning began stormy gray.
Little drops of water on the windshield.
I liked the way the wind wove through me.
Felt like life and its passions.
I wanted to cry at the beauty of it.
