Sometimes I’m proud to be part of the organization in which I work. And then sometimes I’m disgusted by the politics and the ignorance of the upper ranks.

Should a person in power say things like, “Well, I heard that some of the people leaving are in over their heads in debt,” implying that the people leaving for higher paying positions need the money? It would be easy to find out who’s leaving, so now we’re to believe that one or all of them are in some kind of horrendous debt? What kind of crap is that? Rat bastards.

Insignificant. The word is echoing in my mind after reading an article at the Oakland Athletics website. The columnist, a sportswriter, wrote “What I do — and what the aforementioned men do — for a living is insignificant right how.” And he’s right, I think.

I know that for me, I’m trying to live my life as I did before Tuesday. My routine is the same, but it’s almost all automatic. I’m afraid to let my thoughts take a creative turn because I feel as though I’m not giving those who died their proper remembrance. So I cry inside for all of us, but I also remember to smile, even if only for a moment.

Horror, fear, anger… Gratitude, love, hope… What do I focus on? Hope.

Maybe you should go to church. But I would almost feel like a hypocrite. Go to God because of this time of turmoil when I do not go to God in other times? Besides, I would feel so alone in church. I would go alone and even in a whole congregation full I would be alone…

The leather apron is now just under $200. Rat bastards! No fair, mis amigos!

We saw Final Fantasy last night. Very neat movie! I was feeling nostalgic because we saw the movie at my old haunt. I worked there about a decade ago. (YIKES! Has it been that freakin’ long?!) I was saying things like, “Oh good, the movie is playing in number 8, one of the newer auditoriums.” And I wondered if the people who work there (young ones, like when I was there) have the same kind of fun I had when I worked there. After work snacks at the Carrows next door, day trips to Great America, the company picnics in Modesto. I hope they have fun. I hope they enjoy it more than they dislike it…

Wow, Peggy Fleming was taking a tour of my workplace last night. Isn’t that crazy?! She’s a pretty lady and it was really neat seeing her. 🙂

I didn’t get the soulDecision cd. :sigh: Oh well, the leather apron is still under $100. It’s got 2 days or so left. Hmm, wonder if I’ll get a chance on that one…

The days are blending together. I live for the weekends. 😛

More Xena stuff is up for auction at Yahoo. I really really want to get something Virgil. I’m shooting for the leather apron thing that we first see him in. But what the heck would I do with it?! LOL!

Also on the auction list is the Indecision (now soulDecision) remix CD for their single “Tonight.” I’m definitely going to bid on that one.

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!! 🙂

I have to work, unfortunately. There’s a whole, somewhat sordid story about that, but I shall not go into it at present time. I have to go to the mall and get my glasses repaired. Gads.

It’s the weekend. Finally.

I’ve hit 50 posts at the Dark Angel Fan Forum. Woohoo!!! I think I babble too much. That’s what it means, right?
