I took a personal day on Friday (gotta love those personal days!) and we saw THE LORD OF THE RINGS. FANTASTIC movie! Now I’ve figured out the thing about Orlando Bloom. He’s kinda cute, for an elf. 😉 But the movie is GORGEOUS and breathtaking. Made me want to go to New Zealand.

Sadness still lingers, but I smile more now when I think of Kevin Smith…

Dreams! I had a multitude of dreams last night. But first, let’s set the scene.

Last night, after a rather nailbiting episode of The X-Files, we decided to go ahead and watch Karl Urban in THE IRREFUTABLE TRUTH ABOUT DEMONS. Weird, weird movie, but it was nice seeing Karl in something different. 😉 Then, I popped in “Old Ares Had a Farm,” the first Kevin work I’ve seen since his passing. I watched it as I would have watched it before, with only little bits of nostalgia and even smaller bits of sorrow. But it’s a funny episode, so I couldn’t help but laugh too. Oh yes, and drool just a very little bit. Okay, not so little bit…

After all of that, we went to bed. And I dreamt…

I was somewhere with my Dad’s digital camera in tow and my sister present as well. I think a few of my friends were there too. And at the bar (why is it always a bar?) was Harry Connick Jr.! (I’ll be seeing him in concert later this month. Woohoo!) I went up to Harry and we got to talking and before I could ask him for a picture, he said, “Yes, we can take a picture together.” So I had my sister take the picture, only she seemed to have trouble with it. (A recurring theme for some reason. Makes me paranoid whenever I take the camera anywhere now. Am I afraid it won’t work?) But she got the picture somehow and I was a happy Harry fan…

I wake up into another dream and remember the dream about Harry. I pick up the camera and check the pictures. Alas, number 16 (or was it 6?) is not a picture of me and Harry. It’s Meggie or Saffy instead. But a few pictures before (or was it after?) are pictures of me with Greg Lee! Goodness me! Nice pictures, of course, and some of just Greg…

The dream goes into work mode. I’m doing overtime (yeah right) at the Dublin courthouse (no such thing, it’s Pleasanton) and I’m there before work. I don’t know what I’m doing there, but I do know that I finish at 12:30, which is thirty minutes before my regular shift. I tell someone that I’ll just go to work and use this time before as overtime. When I head back to my car (which is parked in some kind of field), I find the door caved in. I get mad, but I fix it. I’m still a little pissed though.

And what does it all mean? I’ve not a clue! LOL!

A day off! Yeehaw!

Well, Saffy got groomed today and she looks spiffy! Take a look at Saffy’s New Look.

I still haven’t gotten all of the site up. Mostly the Kevin stuff. I hope I never ever have to move my site to another webhost again. What a freakin’ hassle!

We got a webcam! I’ve been playing around with the snapshot part of it. Took some groovy pictures of my nails. LOL!
