Based on the Bram Stoker Award nominee short story by acclaimed author Joe R. Lansdale, Bubba Ho-tep tells the ?true? story of what really did become of Elvis.
We find the King (Bruce Campbell) as an elderly resident in an East Texas rest home, who switched identities with an Elvis impersonator years before his ?death?, then missed his chance to switch back. Elvis teams up with Jack (Ossie Davis), a fellow nursing home resident who thinks that he is actually President John F. Kennedy, and the two valiant old codgers sally forth to battle an evil Egyptian entity who has chosen their long-term care facility as his happy hunting grounds?

OTHER HALF OF THE MOUTH DONE!
Looks like my mouth is getting feeling again. I had another trip to the dentist to finish up the deep cleaning of my teeth. Not too bad. The dental hygienist is nice.
HERCULES THE LEGENDARY JOURNEYS: “Revelations”
The episode was on last night on the SciFi channel. We watched it. Charles Mesure was one of the guest stars. He’s going to be at the Xena convention at the end of the month! 😀

Kevin Smith was also in the episode. One of his comic relief appearances. It was great watching him and enjoying his work.
I still miss him.
The episode marked Iolaus’ return from the dead. He comes back to warn Hercules of the Four Horsemen who will bring war, famine, pestilence, and death to mankind. Ares tries to fight Michael (Charles Mesure) and the Horsemen but they are too powerful for him. In the end, Hercules saves the day (of course!) and Iolaus must remain on earth to live out his life.
Good stuff. 😉
THE DREAM BEFORE WAKING UP
I think I’m calm about going to the dentist, but I must fret in my subconscious because I had yet another freaky dream.
It was today and I was late for my dentist appointment. And for some reason I was supposed to go to work, but it was already 1500 hrs and I forgot to call. I called and didn’t get the regular sergeant and I was trying to not come to work but the sergeant said that I should come in anyway. Wait, maybe I already went to the dentist in the dream. I dunno, it was just weird!
