We bought five CDs yesterday. We like spending money. LOL! Clay Aiken, Linda Eder, Jonny Lang, Bette Midler, and O-Town. So far I’ve listened to Clay and Jonny. Jonny ROCKS! Clay is all right. I’ll have to keep listening. But Jonny Lang has definitely matured into a great musician. We bought O-Town because of that song of theirs, “All or Nothing.” We both like the song. And of course Linda and Bette were my choices. 😛 I love Linda Eder! And Bette Midler does a Rosemary Clooney songbook, so I just had to get it. I love the old standards.
And a visit to soulDecision’s website yesterday finally paid off! They’ve got 3 unreleased songs on the site and an update on the group. First off, WHY DID DAVE LEAVE?! Well, they don’t say (Ken wrote up an update and mentioned Dave’s departure first), so I’ll echo their good wishes to him. Second, they’ve made the band guys official members. Now I have to remember Tino, James, and Terepai (bass, guitar, drums respectively). Tino and James were part of the group’s live show (and in the videos, if I remember correctly), but Terepai was not, although he drummed their first CD.
I’m very excited about their upcoming release! The songs sound good. I wonder if Dave’s departure will affect the sound of the music. So far it doesn’t seem so…
