wandering upon a ship
stranded, cast adrift
not desperate
merely waiting
passing time until rescue
keeping order
finding clues
what brought us here
remembering moments
untouched but with smiles
desire a whisper
left best to fantasy
our footsteps matching
our laughter catching
fading into the mist
we slowly drift apart
feeling nothing amiss
deep within our hearts
