Ten games over .500. Wowsers. Sometimes I can’t believe the turnaround the A’s have made. It’s almost too much to relish. And then I think to myself, hey, these are the freakin’ A’s! And in baseball, anything can happen. 😉
The game wasn’t on tv for us (should I just stop harping about that?), so I tuned into the Cardinals/Dodgers game. Disappointing! Somewhere in the sixth inning, I realized (after doing my nails) that I should start that Harry Potter book.
So yes, now I’m reading Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. Of course, I’m enjoying it. I need to finish it before I read anymore spoilers. Ye gods! I will say, darker mood over the whole story so far.
After getting off from work early (goodness, I do love Fridays), we headed out to the mall. The husband got a new watch the other day and wanted a new ring to better match it. We thought we’d just go ahead and check out different bands, but we ended up buying at the first jewelry store! I’m getting my bridal set resized (my left ring finger has been strangled by my wedding band for too long). It’s strange not having my rings on! And I need to give the finger a rest to let it shape back to place. I’m supposed to stick my hand in ice water. 😛 Maybe I’ll go do that while I’m reading HBP.
